Slow Connection. What do I do?
There are several possible reasons why your connection appears slow. It may be due to a weak Wi-Fi signal, weak signal strength on the cable line, the problem with the modem or router. A slow DNS server may also cause a slow connection. When the slowness is just with one single website, then it might be the website’s problem instead of the internet’s problem. When the slowness happens on all your devices connecting to the internet, then it can be diagnosed as a network problem.
If you are facing a slow connection on your server or website. Please provide our support engineer with the following info:
1. Ping result
i. Go to Command prompt –> type “ping < SERVER IP / DOMAIN NAME > ” -t).
ii. Stop for a few minutes.
iii. Capture the screenshot and send it to our support engineer as an attachment.
2. Your end IP address
You can go to the site to check for your IP address.
3. Traceroute Result
You need to download the Ping Plotter and send us the screenshot of the result after running the test for a few minutes.
With this information, our engineers will be able to detect the root cause.
