Create a New Domain Redirection
- Firstly, log in to Plesk and click on Websites & Domains.
- Secondly, select Add New Domain.
- Enter the following details:
- Domain Name: the domain name that you have registered with your service provider or a domain name registrar.
- DNS Server Configuration: select Keep master DNS zone on this server.
- Hosting Type: select Forwarding.
- Destination Address: the domain you want to redirect to.
- Forwarding Type: Choose your preferred forwarding type.
Standard Forwarding: Visitor is redirected to the site, and the actual site’s address is shown in the browser.
Frame Forwarding: Visitor is redirected to new site without knowing that the site actually resides at another location. - Lastly, click OK.
Add a Domain Forwarder with Existing Domain
- First, log in to Plesk and select Websites & Domains.
- Second, click on Hosting Settings nest to your preferred domain.
- Then, click on [Change] next to Hosting type.
- Hosting Type: select Forwarding.
- Destination Address: the domain you want to redirect visitors.
- Forwarding Type: Choose your preferred forwarding type.
Standard Forwarding: Redirect visitors to the site, and the actual site’s address is shown in the browser.
Frame Forwarding: Redirect visitors to new site without knowing that the site actually resides at another location. - Lastly, click OK.
